Laying the groundwork for what you do as a working woman, how you treat people, your commitment to your vision and your ideas are what allows for possibilities. When something extraordinary happens it is because you have laid the right groundwork, you have made miracles possible.

We working women have faced adversity and negative comments and people telling us what we can and cannot do, should and should not do. Yet, in spite of all of this we have created this miracle that has changed our lives and given us opportunities unavailable a century ago. Working women have become an economic force in this country. We have overcome many obstacles and, we should be grateful to the miracle of our courage and determination and all that it has brought into our lives. This is the bigger picture, the bigger miracle.

There are also many smaller miracles that abound, and we so often forget to look at them, appreciate them, even acknowledge them. They come into life each and every day, a kindness, a success, a compliment, generosity. We need to value their importance, the part they play in a working woman's life. Any working woman who is willing to believe in miracles can create amazing possibilities. A positive attitude is far more rewarding than saying, "it can't happen to me." Because, yes it can! Just look around, everywhere, in big cities and small towns, just look at all that women are doing.

However, the miracle that matters most is finding your happiness. You can make this miracle happen by fulfilling the goals of your vision, by staying courageous, by being in touch with your heart and soul and your own truths in ways that bring satisfaction and contentment to your world as a working woman! You really can get to choose your own destiny. It's your right!
